Harris County Extends Deadline for Staff Augmentation RFP Responses

The county added almost a month for its request for proposals seeking Universal Services contract-to-hire staff.

Harris County amended its request for proposals (RFP) seeking IT staffing companies to fill various areas and provide contract-to-hire positions. The new submission deadline is Jan. 13.

The RFP title is “Information Technology Recruitment and Staff Augmentation Services for Harris County” and should result in contracts to help fill roles in county Universal Services, according to the documents. Universal Services, with about 500 employees, provides IT and fleet support across Harris County with solutions to optimize business and operating models of supported agencies, according to its website.

Position areas may include application and software development, asset management, cybersecurity, contracting and procurement, database administration, network/telecommunications, project management, technical services and web development.
