Houston Community College (HCC), a public institution of higher education with more than 70,000 students per semester, has outlined several solicitations in its 2023 procurement plan for Q3 and Q4.

During this year’s third quarter, the college looks to issue a solicitation for unemployment insurance claims management and employment verification software, followed by solicitations for a background check service provider and an IT hardware recycling program in Q4.

Official solicitation notices will be posted on the Houston Community College Procurement Operations website.

For example, a solicitation currently listed on the HCC’s procurement website is for full website redesign and development services, with responses due by July 31.

HCC’s procurement plan requires that vendors looking to respond to any solicitations must not make a political contribution to a trustee or candidate during the blackout period or communicate with college trustees, employees or members of the college’s selection and evaluation committee during the blackout period, which occurs once a bid is posted for 30 days until a chancellor or their designee executes the contract.

More information regarding these solicitations can be found online.
