The position has a yearly salary range of $91,703.30 to $105,343.94.
Second is a senior IT project manager position within the Houston Airport System's IT program management office (PMO). PMO oversees all technology systems and information related to Houston’s airports.
Job responsibilities include:
- Managing mission-critical IT projects ranging between $2 million and $5 million with limited oversight
- Overseeing aviation-specialized solution deployment, systems change management and configuration management for systems used by 2,000 to 5,000 users
- Managing passenger-facing IT infrastructure, cloud environment and applications for 60 million passengers per year
- Overseeing mission-critical government regulatory IT projects
- Serving as a single point of contact for IT enterprise projects from original concept through final implementation
- Coordinating project team resources representing multiple internal and external stakeholders and technology functional areas
- Ensuring airport enterprise technology projects are delivered within the defined scope, quality, schedule and cost
Minimum requirements for the job include having a bachelor’s degree in technology project management, management and information systems, computer science or a closely related field, and more than 10 years of directly applicable experience.
