The JPS Health Network, Tarrant County’s hospital district, is looking to enhance its programs and care through an IoT-driven health-care technology platform with a new request for proposals (RFP).

The public teaching hospital would like to have real-time location tracking for its staff, patients and assets, as well as environmental and compliance monitoring. These would enhance operational efficiency, safety and decision-making, according to the documents.

Patients include infants in neonatal care. The hospital serves about 1.2 million patients each year.

Technical requirements include:
  • Artificial intelligence for data insight
  • Cloud-based or cloud-ready platform
  • Security and compliance
  • Integration with existing systems, including Epic
  • Bluetooth low energy tags and wearables
According to request for proposals No. 20241273708, the contract is for three years with two potential renewals. Proposals are due at 2 p.m. Dec. 23.

The contact is Lizzie Harris Johnson. More information on JPS business practices is at the vendor portal.

JPS also has an RFP for enterprise monitoring, due Dec. 16, for software-as-a-service system monitoring and incident management.
