The Lone Star College System (LSCS) has published a request for proposals (RFP) for an integrated catalog and curriculum management system that will integrate multiple streams of information in an accessible, user-friendly way.

The system will present class offerings, degree and certificate information, policies and requests and will be used by students, instructors and administrators. It will need to comply with state and federal laws.

The RFP contains multiple requirements pertaining to forms, workflows, controls, reporting and outputs. The best-value contract award will be for three years with two one-year renewal options.

The system will:
  • Meet accessibility laws and requirements
  • Be secure and meet privacy laws
  • Feature academic catalog format
  • Publish handbooks
  • Be configurable and dynamic
  • Sync with various tools
The college has more than 90,000 students in more than 200 programs, according to its website. There are eight college campuses within 23 locations.

RFP No. 24-10-04 has a 3 p.m. Nov. 5 response deadline, and a 4 p.m. Oct. 24 question deadline. Pamela Johnson is the contact person, and LSCS uses Ion Wave to manage opportunities.
