Lone Star College is looking for vendors that can provide voice and data communication cabling services at multiple locations. It serves some 80,000 enrolled students in Harris and Montgomery counties and has 23 campuses and centers.

The college published a request for proposals (RFP) for work to be done under its master service agreement for cabling guidelines and technology infrastructure. The detailed guidelines include information about technology spaces, access and pathways, cable and cabling requirements, hardware and standard requirements.

A virtual pre-proposal conference is scheduled for 2 p.m. Sept. 25, and an in-person conference at 10 a.m. Oct. 1; neither is mandatory.

RFP. No. 964 is due at 3 p.m. Oct. 16, and board recommendations will be made in February. The contact is Pamela Johnson.
