The center issued request for proposals No. AIS-BUS-01431 for a PMS this week, with a Feb. 27 deadline.
The center's requirements include:
- Centralized content management system
- Mobile and desktop interfaces that work in Windows or Mac environments
- Robust search, ease of use, user customization
- Flexible admin functions, workflow design, reporting functions, dashboard creation
- PeopleSoft and/or Active Directory interoperability
Staffing, development, training and support are also required.
In 2022, the designated comprehensive cancer center, part of the University of Texas System, saw more than 175,000 patients, ran 1,680 clinical trials and invested $1.1 billion in research. It employs about 23,000 people across the greater Houston area. Its total state appropriations for FY24 are $230.6 million while its operating budget is about $7 billion.
