Plano recently implemented Clariti’s Community Development Platform, which will replace the TRAKit software now in use, according to a news release.

The project, implemented by Unisys, is intended to improve customer experience and existing business processes performed by departments responsible for community development, including the planning department.

The platform provides:
  • System unification and automation
  • Real-time data analytics
  • Faster communications for stakeholders and faster customer service
  • Online self-service and mobile access
There are nearly 300,000 residents in the city, which makes it one of the 10 largest in the state, according to Industry Navigator*. The city's last budget included about $14 million for IT.

“The city of Plano has their entire organization behind this project to improve development services. We’re excited to partner with Unisys to bring best practices and a modern, configurable platform to the government agency,” said Clariti co-CEO Cyrus Symoom in the release.
