Tarleton State University, part of the Texas A&M System, has published a request for information (RFI) for a student information system. The due date is Aug. 30.

The university is investigating student information systems that can integrate with existing architecture and handle a wide range of student-centered information. Tarleton is in Stephenville and has about 15,000 students and 1,500 faculty and staff.

The university is exploring ERP solutions in use by similar universities, especially those in Texas, and is in an information-gathering stage.

A new system’s integrations would include Workday, a systemwide human capital management system; and the systemwide financial system known as FAMIS.

Information would include:
  • Recruitment and admissions
  • Course information and class catalogs
  • Student schedules
  • Registration, enrollment and retention
  • Grades
  • Billing

Responses for request No. RFI-24-001 are due by 3 p.m. Aug. 30. The contact for this information request is Cori Luttrell. This request is for information only and not intended as a procurement or contract vehicle.

Tarleton is a founding member of the Texas A&M University System and posts opportunities to the Texas SmartBuy website under agency No. 713.
