Tarrant County City Seeks Replacement for a Community Development System

A proven solution and well-regarded public-sector vendor are the preference for system migration.

A city of under 50,000 in a growing region has published a request for proposal (RFP) for a vendor to replace the existing solution with a “modern and intuitive workflow.”

Keller, adjacent to the Alliance Airport area, is looking to replace its CentralSquare software solution with an off-the-shelf system that integrates with existing city technology and works in a Windows environment.

The system will encompass:
  • Planning and zoning.
  • Permitting and inspections.
  • Code enforcement.
  • Mobile inspections.

The vendor will need to fully configure all workflows, complete full data conversion, clean up the data, train staff and other users and maintain the system.

A pre-proposal virtual meeting will be at 10 a.m. Aug. 2; the city requests that questions be submitted in advance. Contact RFP coordinator Ryan Lee for an invitation.

Completed proposals are due at 3 p.m. Aug. 18 through the purchasing system or in person at city offices, 1100 Bear Creek Parkway.
