DIR delivers technology solutions to state and local government entities, including purchasing support, policy insights, strategic direction for statewide IT and cybersecurity risk analysis.
In total, DIR spent $117,066,061 on its five largest IT buys. Here with rounding, are those purchases, according to the Texas Comptroller’s “Payment to Payee” visualization:
- $41.8 million to Rackspace US Inc., which offers multicloud solutions for apps, data and security.
- $31.7 million to Deloitte Consulting LLP, which provides audit, consulting, financial advisory, risk management and tax services.
- $27.2 million to Atos Governmental IT Outsourcing Services LLC, which offers deliverables-based information technology services.
- $9.4 million to AT&T Corporation, which provides telecommunications, media and technology services.
- $7 million to Capgemini America Inc., which offers technology and digital transformation services.
Regarding specific purchases, DIR spent $105 million on statewide technology center payments, $6.2 million on the statewide telecommunications network and $5.6 million on computer services.
