The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) spent approximately $61.5 million on its five largest purchases of IT goods in this year’s first quarter.

According to the agency’s website, TxDOT is responsible for developing and operating the state’s integrated transportation system and facilitating the movement of freight and international trade.

TxDOT spent $61,490,294 on its five largest IT buys. Here with rounding, are those purchases, according to the Texas Comptroller’s “Payment to Payee” visualization:


Regarding specific purchases, TxDOT spent $34.8 million on information technology services, $13.6 million on purchased contracted services and $12.8 million on computer services.
