TxDOT is responsible for developing and operating the state’s integrated transportation system and facilitating the movement of freight and international trade.
Here, rounded up, is the agency’s top five vendors, according to the comptroller’s “Payments to Payee” visualization:
- $4.7 million to the Texas Department of Information Resources, which offers technology solutions to state and local government entities
- $3.9 million to SAP National Security Services, which provides secure adoption of SAP services, allowing customers to be in regulatory compliance
- $3.8 million to TTEC Government Solutions, which offers customer experience solutions
- $2.3 million to Accenture LLP, which offers cloud services and deliverables-based IT services
- $2.2 million to CGI Technologies and Solutions, which offers public-sector IT and business consulting
Regarding specific purchases, TxDOT spent $22.9 million on purchased contracted services, $20.3 million on information technology services, $6.6 million on personal property and $4 million with the statewide technology center.
