The agency responsible for maintaining 80,000 miles of road and supporting aviation, rail and public transportation across the state spent more than $20 million on its five largest purchases of IT services in November.

The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) spent exactly $21,671,963 on its five largest such buys. Here, with rounding, is where that money went, based on data from the Texas Comptroller’s (CPA) “Payment to Payee” visualization.

The periodic reports of spending on IT goods and services by agencies and departments in state government are compiled by Industry Insider — Texas as a way of highlighting procurements and trends.
