University Health Sciences Center Seeking Patient-Provider Data Platform

The Texas Tech-based center has extended a deadline for requests for proposal regarding a solution with multiple functions.

The Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC), which provides health science education, research, patient care and community services in the West Texas area, has extended a request for proposals (RFP) for a provider data management and patient access solution.

The health sciences center has a service area with more than 2.7 million people; trains doctors, nurses, pharmacists and other health professionals; and has more than 5,000 students.

Respondents will need to provide the RFP’s required documentation and a completed information request from the IT Division, linked in the RFP.

The provider data management system and patient access solution will:

  • Aggregate and publish accurate provider data
  • Provide self-service scheduling
  • Be compliant with HIPAA and privacy standards
  • Be TX-RAMP certified

The RFP No. 739-SL3520654 has a new deadline of Sept. 12, and responses should be submitted via the university’s TechBid page. Details are also posted at the Texas SmartBuy website under agency number 739.

TTUHSC operates six schools in Abilene, Amarillo, Dallas/Mansfield, Lubbock and Midland/Odessa.
