VertexOne, Based in Texas, Named to GovTech 100 for 2022

The company provides SaaS solutions from “meter to cash” for utilities and the energy companies.

Five Texas companies were listed by Government Technology magazine* as among the top 100 for 2022.

One of those is VertexOne, a company providing software-as-a-service (SaaS) platforms for utility and energy business processes that enhance provider and end-user experiences.

The company, under the leadership of CEO Andrew Jornod, acquired WaterSmart Software and EC Infosystems during the last two years and continues to grow its customer base. According to its website, there are 400 clients across the U.S. including the San Antonio Water System.

In April, VertexOne, with offices in Houston and Richardson, announced a renaming of its product brand architecture to “organize and simplify” the customer experience. The categories for solutions will be categorized under Digital, Revenue or Data.

“This new brand architecture will ensure our clients and prospects are able to more easily understand VertexOne’s solutions and their value, therefore positively impacting interactions and experiences with our customers and communities,” said Bill Mareburger, SVP of product strategy.

The company was also named to the GovTech 100 in 2020 and 2021 and pivoted to a virtual work culture during the pandemic.

The GovTech 100 is an annual list compiled and published by Government Technology as a compendium of 100 companies focused on, making a difference in, and selling to state and local government agencies across the United States.
