GLO/VLB
The Texas General Land Office (GLO) and Veterans Land Board (VLB) issued a collective request for proposals (RFP) due Jan. 10 for VLB social media data analytics services.

The VLB administers loans for Texas veterans and military families, sells land and manages veterans’ cemeteries.

GLO and VLB seek a contract for a vendor who will optimize social media campaigns to help increase the board’s land loans, meet demand for housing loans, meet demand for cemetery and veteran’s home benefits and increase agency awareness, according to the documentation. This will be a best value contract.

RFP No. X0001005-ST lists the following under its scope of services:
  • Data collection and analysis
  • Targeted audience segmentation
  • Campaign optimization
  • Reporting and evaluation
  • Optional media placements
The contract will be awarded to a single vendor that should plan to commence work mid-March, according to the documentation. The contract is for one year and may be renewed depending on the GLO/VLB’s discretion.

The deadline for questions is 2 p.m. on Dec. 15 and the deadline for solicitations is 2 p.m. on Jan. 10. A notice of intent to award will be announced on or about Feb. 14. The agency posts opportunities on Texas SmartBuy under agency search No. 305.
