Accenture has appointed Tamara Fields, who previously led the company’s public sector work in Texas, to lead Accenture Public Service across the U.S. As a seasoned leader whose career has been deeply rooted in public service, over more than two decades she has served federal, state, and local governments clients. With a deep commitment to servant leadership, a value instilled by her lifelong civil servant parents, Tamara has dedicated her expertise to enhancing the operational efficiency of government entities through transformative back-office solutions and innovative uses of generative AI. Her work not only supports the smooth running of governments but also significantly contributes to the well-being of communities, underscoring her belief that public service is crucial to the fabric of our society.

Tamara's extensive experience spans cross-industry, multilateral project management and delivery of creative, strategic, and transformative solutions to a diverse client base. Beyond her professional endeavors, Tamara remains actively involved in academia and community service. She serves on the University of Texas McCombs School of Business Advisory Council and the Board of Trustees for Paul Quinn College, where she contributes to finance and technology committees. Her commitment extends to supporting the Austin Chamber of Commerce and the Texas Conference for Women, reflecting her deep belief in leveraging expertise for meaningful work.
