  1. The Office of the Controller issued a Request for Qualifications for consulting services to support the implementation of a new enterprise resource planning (ERP) system. The office began a two-year project to replace the city’s financial system with a fully integrated ERP in 2015. Oracle PeopleSoft Financials and Supply Chain Management (FSCM) and Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) were selected as the new system. Accenture LLP was selected as the system integrator and will provide post go-live support from July to September 2017.

With the responses, the Controller’s Office intends to develop a prequalified list of firms city agencies may choose from to supplement the project on an as-needed basis and assist with future ERP enhancements and support. The deadline for responses is March 1. The anticipated contract term for contracts may last up to two years, with an option for a three-year extension.

  2. The San Francisco International Airport (SFO) is looking for vendors who can assist with the development of an Airport Information Integration Solution. According to a Request for Proposal for the project, the solution will “provide secure data channels, messaging infrastructure and system integrations between different platforms.” The chosen contractor will deliver a variety of services, including but not limited to architecture validation, solution design/configuration and use case implementation. Proposals are due March 24.

  3. The city and county of San Francisco issued a Request for Information to review potential Web-based case management solutions for the Office of the District Attorney (SFDA). The new system must provide a fully integrated document repository and offer a series of core functions, such as case initiation and charge/booking data. While a contract will not be awarded as result of this RFI, the agency intends to use responses to develop a future RFP for system procurement. RFI responses are due March 27.
