Patrick Hevesi is a Vice President Analyst with Gartner for Technical Professionals (GTP) on the Security, Identity and Risk team. He manages the security technology and infrastructure key initiative to ensure the right mix of content for Gartner clients.
Mr. Hevesi provides critical guidance to CISOs, security architects and managers for more than 300 enterprises annually. His current security topics include mobile (OS and MTD), cloud (CASB), collaboration (O365) and overall cybersecurity strategy and architecture. He is well known for his deep technical knowledge and problem-solving skills to help organizations defend against the everchanging threat landscape .
Mr Hevesi is a key speaker at Gartner events worldwide. He is well published in both Gartner and leading industry publications such as WSJ, IDG, ZDNet, SearchSecurity, Computerworld as well as numerous security vendor blogs. Mr Hevesi has more than 17 years of experience in information security, with roles including CISO, security architect and competitive security lead.
