In a live presentation via Google+ Hangout, Scott Gregory, California’s Geographic Information Officer, will give the first ever "State of GIS in California" address, an overview of California’s Geospatial Information Systems (GIS) program, initiatives underway and what mapping data holds for the future of the Golden State. He will also provide strategic understanding of the role of GIS in state government and how this technology can be leveraged by Californians.
