California Technology Agency Secretary Carlos Ramos on Thursday announced the IT Leadership Academy (ITLA) will be holding a "vendor connect forum" on May 2.
As part of the this year’s ITLA class project, Ramos said that a forum will be held to "bring state IT technology leaders together and the IT vendor community without an agenda, without a specific topic area, but really so you [the vendor community] can have the chance to meet with AIOs and CIOs, be able to talk about the issues and concerns or interests that you have, to showcase the technologies that you have and then hear from the technology leaders in the state, what are their strategies, what are their initiatives, what do they have on their drawing boards."
The announcement was made during his opening remarks at the Mobile Government Forum held on March 28 at the Sacramento Convention Center. Online registration is open and available via the California Technology Agency’s website, according to Ramos.
