Kiefer Names Smalley Senior Project Manager, De Los Santos Associate Consultant

Kiefer Consulting of Folsom has announced the return of Lauren Smalley and the addition of Nathan De Los Santos to the firm.

In a news release, the company said: “Their arrival marks a significant enhancement to our capabilities and underscores our commitment to nurturing talent and fostering a culture of growth and excellence.”

Smalley, based in Rancho Cordova, has been named senior project manager for the company, where she previously served as associate consultant and consultant. In the interim, Smalley was program and project manager for Cyclotron Inc. Smalley’s public-sector experience includes roles with the California Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training and the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, where she held a series of increasingly responsible roles.

Smalley’s return to Kiefer “marks a significant moment,” the company said in the news release, “as she brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record in project management.”

In addition, Kiefer said, “she is a Certified Scrum Master (CSM) and holds several Microsoft certifications, making her exceptionally well-suited for leading large technology projects. Lauren’s dedication and technical acumen are invaluable assets to our team, especially in navigating complex projects with strategic finesse.”

Smalley is an alumna of Cuesta College and California State University, Sacramento, where she received her Bachelor of Arts in political science and government.

De Los Santos is a recent graduate of the University of California, Santa Barbara, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in statistics and data science.

“Nathan has already begun making his mark at Kiefer by earning a Microsoft certification and collaborating with team members on various projects,” the news release said. “As an associate consultant, his fresh perspective and robust analytical skills are instrumental in driving innovation and efficiency within our projects.
