Caltrans, the California Conservation Corps, and the counties of Los Angeles and Riverside are seeking IT services for a variety of projects.

Caltrans, CCC, and Riverside and L.A. Counties Seeking IT Services

The California Department of Transportation put out an RFP for Transportation Management Center Activity Logging (TMCAL) Application Maintenance Services.

The vendor will be responsible for providing Caltrans with a TMCAL application system. According to the RFP, it will be used for collecting real-time traffic flow data and video images for monitoring traffic conditions of the roadway system. 

The maximum contract amount hasn’t been determined yet.

The term of contract is estimated to be three years beginning on Oct. 1 or when it is approved by Caltrans, whichever is later, and ending Sept. 30, 2020.

The California Conservation Corps put out an RFP for employee access upgrades and alarm systems monitoring.

The services will upgrade the CCC’s employee access and monitoring systems and the inspection and maintenance of a fire and burglar alarm system at the CCC headquarters.

The contract will begin when it has been approved by the CCC and will extend through June 30, 2019.

The County of Riverside is seeking a qualified vendor for Cisco routers and switches. Security services need to be included by the vendor. The RFQ will close Aug. 31.

The County of Los Angeles' Internal Services Department is seeking video-conferencing and text messaging services through Cisco WebEx Licenses. The services need to include user Spark meeting, Spark messaging and name and toll user services. The bid RFP closes Aug. 30.



Other software RFPs are due on Sept. 5.
