Story #8: Gov. Jerry Brown in January appointed Ron Hughes, Davood Ghods and Andrea Wallin-Rohmann to key positions at the California Department of Technology. Hughes serves as the department’s chief deputy director of operations. He left his post as the chief of the Office of Technology Services, a position he had held since 2012, where he provided networking, computing and training to the state. His position was filled by Ghods, who had worked as the deputy director for enterprise information services at the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation since 2012. Brown appointed Wallin-Rohmann, chief deputy director of policy at the Department of Technology. Like Ghods, Wallin-Rohman had served at the Corrections Department, where she filled several positions since 1998.
