
Pingel has held management and executive roles with companies including Systems Research Group, Venturi Staffing Partners, Ajilon, SAGE Publications, CDW-G and Euna Solutions (formerly GTY Technologies) before joining Appian last month.
“I joined Appian because I want to help California improve the delivery of crucial services by modernizing legacy systems,” Pingel told Industry Insider — California in an email. “I believe the state wants a platform that can meet them where their data is and the applications they have. The Appian Low-Code, hyper-virtualized platform makes it possible.”
He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science and government from San Diego State University.
