Accenture Wins $563 Million Contract to Continue Supporting HealthCare.gov
Accenture announced on Monday that the global management firm has been awarded a $563 million five year contract to continue working for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services to support the HealthCare.gov website.  Accenture was hired in January to support the enrollment site being used to implement the federal Affordable Care Act.  The firm will provide ongoing maintenance and support to the federal healthcare marketplace.  

Verizon Enterprise Solutions Expands Cloud Services
Verizon Enterprise Solutions is adding HP and Salesforce to its cloud platform, called Secure Cloud Interconnect, which already includes Amazon, Google, Microsoft and Verizon used to enable enterprise, scalable and pay-as-you-go cloud services, the company announced.

Xerox to Sell IT Outsourcing Business for $1.05 Billion
 Xerox announced an agreement to sell its Information Technology Outsourcing (ITO) business to Atos for $1.05 billion.   The transaction is expected to close in the first half of 2015, according to the announcement. Xerox’s ITO business includes approximately 9,800 employees in 45 countries.   The ITO includes 4,500 employees in the U.S.  The Xerox ITO leadership team will join Atos.

Microsoft Announces Azure and Dynamics for Government
Microsoft Corporation recently announced the availability of its government cloud platform for federal, state and local governments within the U.S.  Services such as storage, data, networking and applications are hosted in the company’s datacenters within U.S. and managed by cleared personnel. Coming in January, Dynamics CRM Online for government will be generally available based on the Microsoft Dynamics’ public cloud offering.
