The California Health Benefit Exchange announced yesterday it is seeking bids for Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) services during the Design, Development and Implementation (DDI) of the California Healthcare Eligibility, Enrollment, and Retention System (CalHEERS). According to it’s website, the DDI will be performed by a System Integrator that will be selected based upon vendor responses to a separate solicitation (Solicitation HBEX4 – Request for CalHEERS Development and Operations Services.)
The budget for CalHEERS IV&V services for a twenty four month period is $1.6 million dollars, according the the announcement. Read more about the solicitation here.
