CalSTRS, San Bernardino Superior Court Seek System Replacements

Two requests for proposals have been issued for a new treasury management system and jury management system.

Two system replacement requests for proposals (RFP) have been issued for the California State Teachers’ Retirement System (CalSTRS) and the Superior Court of San Bernardino.

CalSTRS is looking for treasury management system software-as-a-service application. According to the agency’s website, it is the “largest teachers’ retirement system and second-largest public pension fund in the nation.”

The new software system is expected to allow for longer-term forecasting, more accurate cash positioning, and enhanced data reporting and security among other features.

“The tool shall support CalSTRS’ Treasury & Banking Management (Treasury) team’s daily cash position/forecasting operations, governance, processes, and existing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system,” RFP documents note.

Questions can be submitted about this RFP until 2 p.m. May 6 and final proposals are due no later than 2 p.m. May 20. The point of contact for this RFP is Penny Palmertree.

The Superior Court of San Bernardino, meanwhile, is seeking proposals for a new jury management system to replace an in-house, web-based system that has been in use for 20 years.

Proposals must be submitted no later than 11 a.m. May 10. The point of contact for this RFP is listed as purchasing@sb-court.org.
