The Department of Transportation put out a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) on July 21 for Architectural and Engineering (A&E) On-Call Stormwater Monitoring and Best Management Practice (BMP) developmental services in districts 11 and 12.
In this RFQ, Caltrans is looking for Statements of Qualifications (SOQs), which will can lead to the award of contract.
The contracted consultant will be responsible for all aspects of the project, including the deployment and maintenance of remote data management telemetry systems. These systems will allow crews in the field to quickly respond to automated composite sample collection equipment failures. The systems must be capable of remote data logger interrogation and sampler programming in all locations.
The contract amount is estimated to be in the range of $4.8 million to $7.8 million with an approximate term of three years.
