Suzanne Vitale, president of Sacramento-based Cambria Solutions, has been named one of Consulting magazine’s inaugural Women Leaders in Technology for having worked for diversity within the technology field while leading her company’s expansion in recent years.

Vitale, who has more than 30 years’ experience in technology and business innovations, joined Cambria Solutions as executive director in 2013. She was named president in January 2020, one of the few female presidents of tech companies.

“I feel very honored to receive this award along with the other exceptional women who share deep expertise in the technology field and recognized for their influence and achievements in the tech and consulting industry,” Vitale said in a statement released by Cambria. “Being recognized as a leading woman in technology is a great opportunity to continue to promote my message and actions for supporting the value of diversity in the workplace. … Cambria Solutions has always been dramatically different. Women represent 45% of our company’s workforce, and two of every five leadership positions are held by women – almost three times the industry average.”

Cambria’s CEO, Robert Rodriguez, cited the role Vitale has played within the firm, which he founded in 2003.

“Suzanne has truly elevated every aspect of the company, from developing major client relationships to meeting our steadfast commitment of delivering value for the public good,” Rodriguez said. “She has opened the door to so many opportunities for our company and our people.”

Cambria specializes in health-care services, social services, public health services, transportation, systems integration, business process re-engineering, organization change management and project management services.
