The California Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD) is seeking a chief project officer (IT Manager I) to exercise “full management responsibility for the Project Management Office (PMO) and provide overall direction in planning, organizing, leading and overseeing all activities associated with IT project management, business analysis and quality management functions.”

According to the job posting, the incumbent “develops and maintains IT policies, processes, procedures, standards and guidelines for PMO functions” and collaborates with the chief information officer “to envision and execute the IT strategic plans and roadmaps to support the department’s business needs.” HCD is part of the California Business, Consumer Services and Housing Agency.
