In addition to his role as CIO, Chief Scott Howland has headed the CHP’s Information Management Division since 2014. He has served the agency in several positions since 1990, including assistant chief in the Coastal Division and in the Office of the Assistant Commissioner for Leadership Development and Communications and captain in the Office of Special Representative.
Also named to the 9-1-1 Advisory Board were:
- Ingrid E. Braun, 50, of Mammoth Lakes, who has been sheriff-coroner and director of emergency services for the Mono County Sheriff’s Office since 2014.
- Hanan Harb-Patterson, 55, of San Diego, who has been communications coordinator for the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department since 2000. She is a member of the National Emergency Number Association.
- Lee Ann Magoski, 42, of Petaluma, who has been communications dispatch manager for the Marin County Sheriff’s Office since 2011.
These positions do not require Senate confirmation, and the compensation is $100 per diem.
