Cable provider Comcast last week announced the creation of new position, Vice President of Accessibility, aimed at helping people with disabilities.
Former AOL executive Thomas Wlodkowski has been hired in the new role to develop a strategic plan on the usability of Comcast’s products and services, according to a press release.
"Comcast is developing new and innovative communication technologies at a rate that is faster than ever before. It is extremely important that our products and services are easily available and functional for everyone to be able to use these technologies that have become essential for communication, education and entertainment," said Charlie Herrin, senior vice president for Product Design and Development.
