Though details have not been finalized, MISAC’s executive director, Brad Walker, said in a news release Tuesday that notices began going out to vendors this week, offering them an opportunity to secure “Partner” status with MISAC for 2023-24. (The organization’s Strategic Partnership year officially runs from July 1, 2023, through June 30, 2024.)

And CCISDA has also set the date and site for its fall conference: Oct. 29-Nov. 1 at the Portola Hotel & Spa/Monterey Conference Center in Monterey. The agenda for this gathering has not been finalized.

CCISDA’s president is Tom Schreiber, chief information officer for Shasta County. First vice president is Liza Massey, CIO for Marin County.

MISAC is led by Ed Miranda, CIO for the city of Newark. Vice president and conference chair is Larry Klingaman, IT director for Palm Springs.
