Deloitte Consulting LLP received a Best Fit Integrator award for its work on the Employment Development Department’s State Disability Insurance (SDI) Online System, the Center for Digital Government announced at its recent awards ceremony in Jackson, Wyoming.
According to the announcement, the new system automated the manual claims processing program, freeing 1.5 million claim requests annually from needing staff assistance. Sixty two percent of initial claim forms are now filed electronically with eligibility determined and the claim processed the next day.
The Best Fit Integrator awards highlight technology companies that tailor solutions to suit the unique needs of government. Nominations are made annually by government agencies across the nation.
