The Department of FI$Cal (Financial Information System for California) is seeking a chief (IT Manager I) to oversee the Change and Release Management (CRM) Section and to be responsible for coordinating software changes in the FI$Cal system.

According to the job posting, key duties of the role include evaluating change requests, creating release schedules, and managing project teams; maintaining processes, conducting training and overseeing configuration management; and managing personnel, workload planning, staff development and training delivery.

The Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) is seeking a chief cloud technology manager (IT Manager I) to handle management, coordination, technical project delivery, reporting and support over activities involving DIR’s cloud migration and adoption project.

According to the job posting and duty statement, the manager supervises and manages the Google Cloud Platform technical team including IT supervisors, specialists, associates, technicians, developers and architects.

The incumbent oversees project management, governance, technical delivery and reporting activities and reports directly to and receives most assignments from the assistant chief information officer; however, direction and assignments may also come from the CIO.

Desirable qualifications for the role include:

The California Department of Conservation (DOC) is seeking an application developer (IT Specialist I) to assume responsibility for advanced analysis, design and programming for complex applications in the department.

In addition, the developer is expected to maintain expertise with various hardware, software and services, as well as languages including C#, JavaScript, .NET, VB.Net, Access and Microsoft SQL Server and a variety of web development and GIS tools. According to the job posting and duty statement, the developer also provides technical advice on emerging technical developments and how these might impact critical DOC systems.

Desirable qualifications, according to the posting and duty statement, include:
