DGS Hosting Several Vendor Education Events

The California Department of General Services (DGS) will host several events this month to educate vendors about state procurement processes. A full list can be found on the DGS events website.

Here are a few of the upcoming highlights:

• “How to do Business with California State Government” will be held virtually April 4. The event will cover Small Business and Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise certifications, registering and navigating the Cal eProcure system, and other resources.
• “Next Steps to Contracting with the State of California” will be held virtually April 10 and will address business certifications, contracting opportunities, market research, and other useful information.
• “Bringing Government Contracting Opportunities to You” will be held virtually April 11 and will focus on securing government contracts and exploring upcoming business opportunities. 
• “Connecting with Contracts” will be held from 8:30 a.m. to noon April 12 at MiraCosta College - San Elijo, 333 Manchester Ave., Cardiff, CA 92007. This event will allow small businesses to connect with prime contractors and other resource partners.
