Three state departments are getting ready to contract IT services.

The Department of Motor Vehicles has issued an RFQ for support renewal of several software applications, including E Business Suite 2003, Professional Users, User Productivity Kit, Discover, Oracle Time/Labor, and server application and tools.

The term of the contract will be one year, running from Sept. 1 through Aug. 31, 2018.

All quotes are due by 10 a.m. Aug. 14. The contract will be awarded Aug. 28.

The Department of State Hospitals put out an RFI to collect information regarding a future update of Charge Description Master (CDM). The contractor will assess the department's CDM pricing to ensure that it meets industry standards and is compliant with statutory and federal regulations.

Responses to this RFI are due by 5 p.m. Aug. 31 and should be submitted by email. Interviews with potential contractors will be conducted after Wednesday.

The Department of Transportation has issued an RFP for Bulk Fuel Cloud Computing. The contractor will provide Caltrans with the automation of bulk fuel facilities and cloud computing services.

According to the RFP, the contractor will be responsible for supplying all labor, tools, materials and equipment necessary to automate the fuel sites at an estimated 241 Caltrans bulk fuel sites.

The contractor will also replace existing equipment and management systems and install new software to connect each site to a cloud management system.

The contract is estimated to run from Sept. 1 through Aug. 31, 2020. The maximum contract amount has not been determined yet.

Bids must be submitted by 2:15 p.m. Aug. 8. The estimated award date is Aug. 15.
