Computer-Using Educators, Inc.(CUE) is a nonprofit educational corporation with the goal of advancing student achievement through technology in all disciplines and by providing Ed Tech professional development to schools, districts and educators. At this year’s CUE conference in Palm Springs, the organization honored 13 Ed Tech professionals for their outstanding use of technology in the classroom curriculum. This week, CUE announced the following 2012 award recipients:

TILL – Technology in Learning Leadership: The TILL Awards recognize national leaders in educational technology. Members of the broader educational technology community are eligible for recognition.

Dr. Gary Stager | Author, Educator, Consultant
Platinum Disk: This award is presented to CUE members who have made outstanding contributions to CUE and to accomplishing its mission and goals. Platinum Disks are awarded in recognition of career-long contributions.
Gerald McMullin | Coord., Assessment, Interventions, and Inst. Tech., Castro Valley USD
Legislative Advocacy: This award is presented to members of the state and/or federal legislature and their staffs for sustaining extraordinary efforts in promoting the educational use of technology through legislation.
Hilary Goldmann | Dir. of Gov. Affairs, International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE)
Outstanding Emerging Teacher: The award recognizes an individual who has made a contribution to educational technology in their first seven years as a classroom teacher.
Robert Pronovost | Teacher, Belle Haven Elementary
Outstanding Teacher: This award recognizes a teacher who has created standards-based curriculum using technology.
Matt Cauthron | Digital Arts Instructor, Digital Arts Technology Academy
Site Leader of the Year: CUE’s newest award recognizes a school principal or assistant principal who has made noteworthy contribution to promoting educational technology in their school.
Bernadette C. Lucas | Principal, Melrose Elementary Math/Science/Technology Magnet
Making IT Happen: This award recognizes educational technology leaders around the world for their commitment and innovation.
