- Serves as the process owner of all ongoing activities related to the location, integrity, preservation and collection of evidence in any matter or action that EDD is subject to.
- Coordinates with EDD legal and IT management to create and maintain policies and processes that support the collection of evidence in support of litigation and regulatory investigation.
- Leads and mentors lower-level technical staff in the privacy oversight group.
- Proactively ensures up-to-date and pertinent knowledge about the legal environment.

- Experience working on large-scale enterprise IT projects.
- Understanding of security protocols, authentication, authorization and identity management.

- Bachelor’s degree in IT, computer science or a related field of study.
- Certified Forensic Computer Examiner (CFCE) or GIAC Certified Forensic Analyst (GCFA) credentials preferred.
- Four to six years of experience with data retrieval from physical and virtual devices; processing, analyzing and preserving digital evidence for legal, criminal or compliance purposes; data encryption and decryption methods; and software reverse engineering techniques.
- Broad knowledge of local and federal data privacy laws and chain-of-custody requirements for digital material.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
