EY Names Clement Client Executive for California Public Sector

“It’s great opportunity for me, utilizing my years of experience in working within the SLED marketplace, and now joining the EY Government and Public Sector team,” Ken Clement told Industry Insider — California.

Ken Clement, a veteran of government technology sales management, has joined EY as a client executive serving state and local government and education.

“I’m just really excited to be at EY,” Clement told Industry Insider — California. “It’s great opportunity for me, utilizing my years of experience in working within the SLED marketplace, and now joining the EY Government and Public Sector team.”

Clement’s sales and consulting experience includes management roles with Dynamic Systems Inc., Oracle, Forrester, Verizon, Webex, AT&T and McCaw Cellular Communications.

Clement outlined his goals and priorities in his new role: “I think first and foremost is just continuing to build EY as a leader in the government and public-sector space, utilizing the relationships that I built through 20-plus years in working with state and local government.”

In the months since he’s joined the company, he said, “I'm really enjoying my time here at EY so far — and I’m looking forward to the next year and years to come.”

Off the job, Clement is active in Relay for Life, a cancer organization in Folsom.

“As a 10-year cancer survivor, it’s very important to me to work with those who’ve been affected with cancer and help find a cure,” he said. He also plays drums and has recently getting back together with members of a band he used to play in.

“It’s a lot of fun,” he said. “I’ve been playing since I was in junior high.”

Clement received his bachelor of arts in criminal science from California State University, Sacramento, and is working toward his Master of Business Administration from Strayer University.
