The California Department of Food and Agriculture (CDFA) is recruiting for a tech specialist with a background in project management, planning and team building.
The IT Specialist II will have responsibilities in areas including project management consulting, project scope and schedule management, risk and issue management, business analysis and requirements consulting and solution assessment.
“The incumbent works collaboratively with the … management team and staff, briefs and advises the manager, exercises a high degree of initiative, independence of action, and originality, and must demonstrate tact and good judgment,” the duty statement says.
According to the duty statement, the key functions of the position are project management, IT vendor management and IT project analysis.
