Garden Grove Issues Solicitation for Dozens of HP Computers

The city’s Information Technology Department is looking for 65 HP Elite computers in a recently posted request for bids.

The city of Garden Grove has issued a request for bids to supply new computer hardware and peripheral equipment.

The solicitation, issued July 30, calls for a vendor to supply 65 HP Elite computers to the Information Technology Department. Installation and monitors are not required as part of the contract.

In addition to the computer equipment, the solicitation package lists three years of “next business day” hardware support with disk retention as a requirement.

ITD’s 2024-25 approved annual expenditures stand at just over $5.56 million, up from $4.87 million in 2023-24. The majority of the department’s annual expenditures go toward salaries and wages; $407,800 has been allocated for contractual services, $432,700 has been allocated for commodities, and $212,700 has been allocated for fixed charges.

Vendors must register through the city’s Planet Bids portal for access to the full solicitation package.
