
DeCicco was most recently affiliated with Salesforce, where he held a series of increasingly responsible roles that culminated with him being named account executive for financial services.
“Thank you to everyone who made my 7 and a half years at Salesforce great,” DeCicco wrote in his LinkedIn profile. “I’m excited to share that I’m starting a new position as a Senior Large Enterprise Account Executive at Gartner!”
DeCicco is one of “a focused group of account managers solely focused on supporting the (state of California) public-sector organizations,” Conrad told Industry Insider — California in an email. “The teams focus across the Health and Human Services (departments) as well as the legislative, judicial and executive branch agencies and departments.”
DeCicco’s experience in account management began with PepsiCo, first as a trainee account manager and then as a cost manager and sales support, coaching a 35-member team through change management and other initiatives. He was promoted to sales manager, relocating to the Bay Area and overseeing five sales representatives, before joining Salesforce in January 2017.
While with Salesforce, DeCicco was recognized as an Achievers Club Winner and completed Salesforce’s Account Executive Excellence Academy, which is reserved for the top performing 10 percent of account executives globally. During his tenure with Salesforce, he relocated to the Sacramento area.
In his new role with Gartner, “I currently serve as a senior account executive supporting our large enterprise clients,” he wrote on LinkedIn. “Our team provides our clients with expert guidance and tools to execute against their mission-critical priorities.”
DeCicco is an alumnus of Jesuit High School in Sacramento, and he received his Bachelor of Science in project management from California State University, Chico.
