Gartner Names Senior Consultant With Management Background

Gartner has named a professional with deep background in consulting and management to the role of senior consultant.

Sacramento-based Joshua Rayburn’s background includes business operations, project management, program innovation, procurement and recruiting, having most recently been with 1STOPlighting of Sacramento for the last four years.

Rayburn’s previous affiliations include Andrew Chang & Co., where he was a manager and, according to his LinkedIn profile, “partnered with state agency officials to design business strategies and assist with rollouts for tools to track performance. Additionally, I navigated database and management systems to craft reports on several state- and federal-level policies, as well as legislative, corporate and budget analysis.”

He has also held consulting roles with All About Numbers, Integrated Development Group and Thriive.

Rayburn is an alumnus of Solano Community College, where he earned his associate’s degree, and of University of the Pacific, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts (magna cum laude) in history. At UoP, he competed nationally on the university’s speech and debate team, winning numerous speaker and team awards. He was awarded the Jacoby Citizen Leader Award in recognition of outstanding work in public or civic work and leadership.

Rayburn's civic involvement includes an internship with S.C.O.R.E. International and having coached youth soccer and debate.
