With his many years of experience and passion for supporting the government and education community, he’s going to make a great addition,” said Andy Chai-Seong, GitLab’s director of U.S. state and local government and education sales.

Bruce Koop, a technology veteran with decades of experience in selling to government, has been named GitLab’s new Western regional manager for state, local and education.

GitLab was founded in 2011 as an open-source project and is known for its DevSecOps (development, security, and operations) platform, among other offerings.
