Janet Haley, a longtime IT industry professional and state government expert, has joined the Government Solutions team at Direct Technology.

Haley’s 20 years of experience includes legacy system upgrades, business analysis, security assessments, fiscal project management and organizational change management. After a recent focus on creating staffing-based solutions, she now looks forward to shifting to service-based solutions at the Roseville-based Direct Technology.

“When you are working with a company like Direct Technology, it's a different mindset, centered around relationship building and long-term solutions,” she said.

Haley joins a distinguished industry colleague of hers on Direct Technology’s government team: Davood Ghods, retired chief of the California Office of Technology Services. The two first met decades ago, and after running into each other at a 2019 conference, she was keen to join Direct Technology with him.

“I just feel so honored to work with such respected leaders,” Haley said.

“We are excited to have Janet join our growing team and contribute to Direct Technology’s efforts to support the public sector’s IT challenges,” said Kyle Keyser, vice president of Government Solutions.

Haley, originally from London, England, lives in the Sierra foothills with her husband and their golden retriever. Haley said the canine, Sasha Daisy, has inspired some of her best business lessons: Always be interested in people; get up and get moving; and in times of stress, prioritize calm and humor. Haley said she believes that when a leader stays calm under pressure, the whole team feels more secure and able to focus on powering through the challenge.
