The Financial Information System for California (FI$Cal) made 24 buys of IT goods through mid-December — spending $20,187,386 on its five most costly expenditures, based on data in the State Contract and Procurement Registration System. With rounding, here’s where that money went:
- $8.8 million with the California State Controller’s Office for IT services via an interagency agreement for partner services, across the 2021-2022 Fiscal Year that began July 1. FI$Cal made the purchase Sept. 17.
- $5 million with Accenture for PeopleSoft functional support and IT consulting services, also for the current fiscal year. This is an 18-month contract, from June 7-Dec. 6, 2022.
- $2.4 million with Accenture for system integrator services. FI$Cal made the purchase Aug. 31.
- $2 million with KPMG for support and consulting services around artificial intelligence and robotic process automation. FI$Cal made the purchase April 14.
- $2 million with Accenture for application development consulting services. This is another 18-month contract, from June 14-Dec. 13, 2022.
