OSI spent $450,162 on those top five expenditures with the vast majority of that — almost exactly $250,000 — on the top purchase. The remaining four comprised a combined spend of $200,163. Here’s what OSI spent, with rounding:
- $250,000 with First Data Government Solutions LP for “SAWS Liaison Services” on a one-year contract that runs Nov. 2-Nov. 1, 2021. That’s likely a reference to First Government Corp., now part of Wisconsin-based Fiserve Inc.; and OSI’s purchase is likely for Statewide Automated Welfare System services.
- $178,600 with San Francisco-based Epic Machines Inc. for “Anaplan Model Builder Annual License Agreement 71034057 ENY 2020” on a nearly two-year contract from Nov. 9-Nov. 1, 2022. That most likely refers to Anaplan, the planning and performance management software that enables businesses to plan and model via a single interface.
- $16,100 with the Military Department for “External Website Penetration Test – CMIPS Agreement 79033976-IA 20-21 CYB ENY 2020” on a one-year contract from Nov. 2-Nov. 2, 2021. This probably refers to a contract for penetration testing for OSI’s Case Management, Information and Payrolling System Office, which responds to the needs of the state’s In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS) Program. That testing appears to have been provided by the California Military Department.
- $3,000 with Sacramento-based Noted Technology Solutions Inc. for “Micro Focus (Attachmate) Reflection Enterprise Suite Business Support Level A PoP: 12/01/20-11/30/21 ITO/WDTIP” on a contract beginning Nov. 30 and of indeterminate length. This appears to be a contract for Attachmate’s Reflection Enterprise Suite software, now a part of Micro Focus.
- $2,600 with Allied Network Solutions Inc., a not unfamiliar name in state contracts, for “SonarSource SonarQube Developer Edition up to 500k LOCs Term: 1/10/2021-1/09/2022” on a contract that began Nov. 7 and is of indeterminate length. This likely refers to SonarQube, an automatic code review tool from SonarSource, and as many as 500,000 lines of code (LOCs).
